About Us

Alannah is a not-for-profit organization formed to provide nurturing homes for children who have been affected by abuse, neglect, and abandonment.  We believe that the children in our communities are better served when placed in a warm and loving environment.

As a state licensed agency, Alannah recruits, trains and monitors foster families for the placement of medically fragile, developmentally disabled, abandoned, neglected or abused children from newborns through the age of 18. The screening process for foster families ensures that we provide the highest quality of care to these children. To further ensure a high caliber of care and treatment for its foster children, Alannah provides ongoing support and training to foster parents.
